We can't complain, though - we've been very blessed to not have any complications thus far! Because John hasn't yet made his grand arrival, Andy has 3 of his 5 final exams done with - praise God! He does have another on May 12th and his last on the 13th, so as much as we look forward to meeting our little bundle of joy, we can't complain if he isn't early! Also, I'm still able to work right now, and my coworkers have been wonderful in trying to help me stay off my feet whenever possible (which is no easy feat in physical therapy!).
Speaking of my awesome coworkers, every time one of us is expecting a baby, everyone chips in to throw the parent-to-be a diaper shower. Well I was absolutely FLOORED when my coworkers surprised us with our nursery bedding set instead of diapers! What's even better is they had no idea that in the meantime, I had been a hormonal and indecisive mess trying to decide on a "plan B" because we were reluctant to spend the money on the nursery set I loved. :) So this was an even better surprise than they will ever know! ;) So here are a few photos of the finished nursery - we love how the bedding set completes it! Now we just need our Baby Boy to arrive and really complete his new room!
Wayne-Dog at his favorite look-out spot in John's room:
The crib with the super cute canvases (that Laura made) hanging above it - they are a perfect match to the nursery set! And the beautiful quilt Mom made is hanging over the crib:
Andy "breaking in" the rocker by rocking the pup to sleep: ;)A few profile shots...

and 39 weeks:
"When's my brother going to get here?? I'm ready to play!"
And a cute one of our Wayne-Dog to end:Love,
Abby, Andy, Baby John, and Wayne-Dog :)

The nursery looks great! And Wayne-dog is vibrant as always! Prayers your way!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a lot of births in the office and whenever people come in with babies the office dog gets jealous and wants us to pay attention to her and not the baby!
