Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshot #19

Bathtime Mohawk!

This photo made it on Facebook this week, but regardless of posting it on there, I wanted to treasure it on here as part of our Favorite Photo Friday archives. John is such a sweet, happy boy! Of course he has his moments (see last week's post) ;) but he is truly a JOY!!! We are so grateful for the blessing that he is. He constantly makes us laugh, and you can't help but smile when this great big grin and those big blue eyes find you! :)

As for the rest of this week, Andy has been studying like crazy to prepare for the Bar Exam -- it's in just 4 days! Please keep him in your prayers -- the exam is Tues-Thurs, July 26-28. Thank you! Also this week, we got to see Baby 2 for the first time in a sonogram! Looking good so far, and such a miracle!! We are a full 9 weeks along today. Y'all have a great weekend! Take care and God bless!

Love,
Abby, Andy, John, Baby, and Wayne-Dog :)

Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshot #18

John learned a new trick this week! He learned to deposit things in the trash can... but not exactly trash! Yes, that's his water bottle, a teething ring, and a wooden block in the trash. Awesome. Thank goodness it was a fairly new bag. Then he got in trouble (because he loves to play with the trash can, despite constant "No"s and redirection)...
I had to include that one because, when we were recently down in Houston visiting my sister and brother-in-law, they expressed that they were glad to see John is a normal kid who occasionally cries and throws fits! All my postings of him grinning and laughing and flirting at the camera made them wonder! ;) But here's one that's more like my favorite little guy:
Can you say "CHEESE!!!"? ;) It's funny because this photo does really "look like John" to Andy and me, but it sure does capture his cheesy smile that we just love.

Y'all have a great weekend! And please keep Andy in your thoughts/prayers... he sits for the Bar Exam (the real one, not the lame one in the Coors Light commercial) ;) in just 11 days! It's July 26-28th... yes, THREE dreadful days long! He's doing phenomenal job with his studies, but it's still got to be so intimidating. We're so very proud of him and know he'll do GREAT, but any prayers or encouragement would surely be appreciated! Thanks so much!

Love,
Abby, Andy, John, Baby, and Wayne-Dog :)

Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshots #16 & #17

Well I missed last week because we were out of town and I still haven't figured out how to upload photos from my phone when I don't have access to a computer. As for last night, I just fell asleep before posting! Ha! This first trimester tiredness and constant nausea is catching up with me! But Andy has been awesome -- he takes care of John when he can so I can rest at night, even though his days and nights are plumb FULL of studying for his Bar Exam -- it's in just 17 days! So on to the photos from last week and this week...

SNAPSHOT #16:
This is John swinging at the playground right outside of the lodge we stayed in at Snow Mountain Ranch, Colorado for Andy's family's Family Reunion. Look at those mountains in the background! It was a beautiful site, and we had SUCH a fun time! I'll make a separate post (I know, I'm WAY behind on regular posts...) all about that!

SNAPSHOT(S) #17
From Colorado, Mom and Dad flew into Denver and drove out to pick John and I up for a quick trip to Montana (poor Andy had to drive home to Lubbock to keep studying for the Bar Exam). We went North to help celebrate Grandma and Grandpa Bergman's 60th Wedding Anniversary! John also got to meet his Great-Grandma Alme and several relatives from both sides of the family. It was his first trip up there, and it was a whirl-wind of a trip -- 4 of the 6 days were spent on the road! He was a champ on the way up there, but the way back was another story.... let's just say that if Mom hadn't been willing to sit in the back seat to take care of/entertain him, it would have been a mess (my "morning" sickness that lasts all day PLUS getting car sick made me a candidate for the front seat). My mom was a life-saver and a saint! Thanks again, Mom and Dad, for making that trip possible! Again, I'll do a separate post about that trip in the future.

Hope you have a great weekend! Take care and God bless!

Abby, Andy, John, Baby, and Wayne-Dog
