Do ya like John's new duds?? We sure do! John is going to be a BIG BROTHER! :) We are excited to announce we're due with our second little one on February 24th! We're only 5 weeks along so far, but we feel so blessed!!

Speaking of blessed, we were also blessed today with our newest nephew, Grant Michael Asmussen! He was born to Mark and Laura Asmussen (Andy's sister) this afternoon! Mama and baby are healthy, and all is well!

Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshot #14

Well this one is almost a week late, but for good reason! John and I were down in Houston last Friday (poor Andy had to stay home and study for his Bar Exam -- just over a month away!) and I tried to do this post from my phone... but no such luck! And there was no time to get online while we were down there because we were having WAY too much fun with my BRAND new nephew and John's new cousin, Owen Henry Kim!
Pretty good excuse to not waste time online, eh? ;)

Going down to Houston over the weekend was such a treat! We were there Friday through Monday (and ended up flying home early Tues morning). We got to visit both my family and Andy's family. John was such a champ on the flights to and from, AND both times we departed at 6:15AM! So John was up WAY early (like 4am, poor kiddo!) and still did a GREAT job on the plane rides! What a BIG BOY! (even with tired eyes!)

Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshot #12

Oops! Forgot to post one yesterday! :)
Looks like John's got BIG shoes to fill! No special story on this one, but it is fitting -- as this week I am trying to finish a book for him filled with photos and stories of his Popo (his great-granddad, John Gaschen) after whom he was named! Popo passed away about 2 years ago, and since John will never get to meet him (not here on earth, anyways), I wanted to gather stories about the great man his namesake was!

On a side-note, I also learned that I need to set out matching shorts/shirts for him on the mornings that Dada gets him dressed! ;) Y'all have a great weekend and take care! God bless!
