Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshot #4

So this week's post is a day overdue as well, but for great reason!!! I got to spend all last night with my best friend Erin Johnson, helping her nest! There's a LOOOOONG story behind it (most of it, you can read on her blog - it's a wonderfully sweet and encouraging story, please read!), but we had to squish 9 months of "Nesting" into 24 hours! The baby they are adopting was born early due to the mother's health, and he was actually born THIS morning!!! They thought they'd have a couple months until he was born, but God had a different plan in store for their growing family! :) So in the span of less than 3 weeks, Ben and Erin Johnson went from not knowing this girl from Adam, to being blessed with the life of her baby!!! Needless to say, it's been a very hectic, emotional, stressful, and overwhelming week for them. But for the best reason in the world -- they are now parents!!!

Update on the baby -- his name is Jacob Cole Johnson, and he was born this morning at 4:42am. 3 lbs. 9 oz, with a full head of hair, and beautiful as ever! My heart is just overflowing with JOY for them!!! This has been such a long time in the making, and they are so deserving!! Little Jacob is in the NICU right now, and as of 7:45 this morning, they still haven't met him... But soon!!!

For the photo of John for this week, this one is too funny! Let's just say he was in the kitchen and quiet, so I knew he was up to something! Poor Wayne-Dog can't even eat his dinner without getting tormented by his little brother! ;)
