Favorite Photo Friday - Snapshot #42

This week was filled with a few "firsts," as we finally ventured out with Will! On Monday, I took both boys up to the hospital for Will's weekly weigh-in -- it was my first outing with the two of them by myself. John was pretty well-behaved, I must say! And we are so proud of Will for gaining weight so well! He was 6 pounds 15.8 ounces -- so surely he has passed the 7 pounds mark by now!

Since we were already out, we stopped by to grab some lunch and go visit Dada up at his office! This was also a first! It was a great surprise for Andy, and John loved looking out the big window at the Courthouse.

On Tuesday, I took a trip to the grocery store with both boys, then on Thursday we made it out to Walmart. While this is probably a norm for most moms out there, it was notable to me simply because it was a first! :) I took this photo to text to Andy to show him my set-up with Will in the sling and John in the cart:

While Will is still little and we have to be more protective of him (being a preemie, especially during RSV season), he is gaining weight well enough now that we can venture out with him occasionally -- it sure helps John (and me!) to get out of the house, even if it's just to the store.... the change of scenery seems to help so much! Now here are some snapshots from our adventures this week...

John is constantly making us laugh! Here he is wrestling with the vacuum:

Spaghetti Face!

"Reading" to Little Brother. John LOVES this old photo album of mine -- he flips through the pages and points out each family member. I love this photo because Will is smiling as though John is telling him a good story. :)

This one just makes me laugh... could his hair be any crazier? And yes, the orange on his face is crayon. Yup. He ate it. Awesome. Parents of the year award right here! Can't turn your back on this kiddo for a second! ;) (And yes, eating crayons was a first, too... just not a positive one!)

Then he'll make up for all his silly antics by being a total sweetheart. We sat down to say our nightly prayers, and John picked up Dada's book of Catholic prayers, started flipping through the pages, and snuggled right in to Dada -- this picture just melts my heart. :)

Here's one of John playing at the park! Boy oh boy those blues eyes still get me! :)

Well that's about it! Y'all have a great weekend! I'll end with a couple pictures of our happy boys! We are so very, very blessed!

Love,
Abby, Andy, John, Will, and Wayne-Dog :)
